This color is a light reddish brown. It reminds me of cedar planks used in my Grandmother's hope chest. The dyer named it after her interpretation of a cedar bark red. Floss colors closely resembling the linen are Weeks Dye Works Adobe and DMC #356.
Every piece is hand dyed, and though the same formula and process is replicated with any dying process, each piece is unique. Linen and Aida are cut to a Stitcher's Quarter Yard, approximately 18" x 27". Size is approximate due to the the dye process.
